Terms of Service

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Filto grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes.

You must not:

• Use the Service to verify data for purposes that violate applicable law, including data protection and anti-spam regulations
• Resell, sublicense, or make the Service available to third parties as a standalone product
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Submit data to the Service that you do not have the right to process
• Use automated tools to interact with the Service in ways that create disproportionate load
• Share account credentials or allow multiple users to access a single account concurrently

You are solely responsible for the content and legality of the data you submit to the Service and for ensuring that your use of Verified Records complies with all applicable laws.

Credit purchases. Credits are purchased in advance. Each credit pack is a one-time purchase. Credits never expire on pay-as-you-go plans.

Credit usage. Self-run verification costs 1 credit per record. Managed verification costs 2 credits per contact or company record. Email verification costs 1 credit regardless of run type. Credits are deducted at the time of processing.

No refunds. Credit purchases are non-refundable. Unused credits are not redeemable for cash. If you believe credits were consumed in error, contact us within 14 days.

Pricing changes. Filto reserves the right to change credit pricing at any time. Changes will not affect credits already purchased.

Taxes. All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes. You are responsible for any VAT, GST, or similar taxes applicable to your purchase.

You retain full ownership of all Client Data you submit to the Service. By submitting data, you grant Filto a limited licence to process, store, and transmit that data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

Filto will not sell, share, or use your Client Data for any purpose other than performing the verification services you have requested. Your data is not used to train models or improve the Service beyond your own verification runs without your explicit consent.

You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to submit all Client Data to the Service and that processing it through Filto does not violate any applicable law, privacy regulation, or third-party rights.

Where Filto processes personal data on your behalf as part of the Service, Filto acts as a data processor and you act as the data controller under applicable data protection law, including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR.

Filto processes personal data only on your documented instructions and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Enterprise customers requiring a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) should contact us directly.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service, including the verification of contact data and subsequent use of Verified Records, complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction. This includes but is not limited to data protection law, anti-spam regulations, and marketing compliance requirements.

Filto complies with applicable data protection laws and maintains appropriate technical and organisational security measures. You agree to reimburse Filto for any costs arising from your non-compliance that affect us.

All intellectual property rights in the Service, including the platform, algorithms, verifier network infrastructure, and all related documentation, belong to Verizap Technologies Pvt. Limited. These Terms do not transfer any such rights to you.

The Filto name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of Verizap Technologies Pvt. Limited. You may not use them without our prior written consent.

Filto will use reasonable efforts to maintain the availability and accuracy of the Service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.

The Service is provided “as is”. Verification results are provided with confidence scores as an indication of accuracy - they are not a guarantee that a contact or company record is correct at any given moment. B2B data changes constantly; Filto's 30-day refresh cycle mitigates but does not eliminate this.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Filto excludes all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and merchantability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Filto shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost revenue, lost profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Filto's total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Filto in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Unused credits are non-refundable on termination.

Filto may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the Service in a way that violates applicable law or creates risk for Filto or other users.

On termination, your Client Data will be deleted within 30 days unless we are required by law to retain it for longer.
